People that have always wanted to watch the Lion King on stage but haven’t gotten to do that now have the chance to witness the magic in person. This time, this is with a live performance at San Antonio.

After being suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic in the 2020-2021 show season, people will be able to see the show once more. Coming on from October 20 through November 7, viewers are set to hit the majestically designed theatre to enjoy the award-winning show.

Priority show pre-sale tickets have been made available as users can now buy them online using the code EAEC23 to get preferred seating. Viewers can get these tickets before they eventually go public later on Friday, the 30th of July.

The show haven won a total of 70 international show awards, and inspired by a Disney Film from 1994, was first premiered in 1997, and is currently the third-longest showing musical on Broadway.

Once referred by Newsweek as “the most inventive, the most exciting, the most moving live show which has ever been shown on Broadway,” it is a production that has been interwoven with six local African languages throughout the show’s duration. The African languages include Congolese, Tswana, Sotho, Xhosa, Zulu, and Swahili.

Viewers are needed to be masked up to attend all shows. For more details and screening times, further information is available on the online website of Majestic Theater.
