Hong Kong Will be the Home of Disney’s The Lion King this December
Everyone is eager to see Disney’s new live-action film, The Lion King, at the cinema this July. With hit stars like Beyoncé voicing Nala, and Donald Glover as Simba, who wouldn’t be eager? But even at that, the film will still have to play second fiddle to the stage musical this year. The musical is making a grand entrance in Hong Kong for the first time in December this year at the AsiaWorldExpo.
The Lion King musical is an adaptation of the 1994 animation. It boasts of being one of the most successful shows of all time. It is also the highest grossing show of all time, as well as the longest-running show. The entire production process is innovative, and amazing, with awesome choreography, state of the art costumes, and lots more. Music and lyrics are by Elton John and Tim Rice. The actors are fully invested in each scene. From their full animal costumes to the breathtaking performances, there is little or no reason why audience won’t love it.
Tickets are already on sale, and they start at around $399. Set your alarms, and save the date. It promises to be a fantastic experience.
